Creepy crawly things

I'm really not a fan of creepy crawly things, but when you live in the woods, they just come with the territory.  Things like this:

We have had a couple of these spiders on our carport and I asked Willie to leave them, because they spin the most beautiful webs.  They really are fascinating to watch.  At least they were until one got in my car.......no more spiders!

And then, this morning Erica spotted this little baby:

Not sure what kind it is, the head is toward the top of the picture, but it's flat and diamond shaped.  I'm just hoping the mama doesn't stop by for a visit!

Fall

Fall is absolutely my favorite season of the year.  I love the colors of the trees, the fresh feeling of the cool air, less humidity, the smells.....Ahhh, it makes me want to go outside, build a fire and roast some marshmallows.  Unfortuntely, one of my favorite things about fall is that I like to bake more sweets than any other time of year, make hot apple cider, dip apples in caramel and chocolate.  Not very weight watcher friendly, but oooohhhh so good!  So I am about to TRY to link a recipe (is link what it's called?) on here to share with you.  Let us know if you try it......it is really delicious!  Here goes!

Ok, I think that's it.  Hope it works, now give it a try!
Happy Fall (a little early)

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the LORD,

all the earth!

Serve the LORD with gladness!

Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the LORD, he is God!

It is he who made us, and we are his,

we are his people, and the sheep of

his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise!

Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the LORD is good;

his steadfast love endures forever,

and his faithfulness to all generations.

Happy thanksgiving from the sisterchicks!!!

Niagara Falls

Entering into Canada was exciting except for the interrogation we went through in customs. :)

Daddy did the majority of driving so he was pretty tired. After a quick rest he was ready to go!

The bridge going from Canada to Buffalo NY.
